Marlins vs. Phillies

Tonight the Marlins play the Phillies. The Phillies haven't been at .500 since June. This doesn't mean it is impossible for them to clench a spot in the playoffs. The Phillies have one 15 of their last 21 games and are coming of a 3 game sweep over the weekend where they defeated Colorado.

As for the Marlins they are sitting in last place in their division only being 63-78. They have one 7 of 12 in the season series and are surging offensively. In tonight's game the Phillies will start Kyle Kendrick on the mound. Kendrick has been on top of his game lately going 4-1 with an ERA of 1.53. For the Marlins they will try to counter by starting Wade LeBlanc who is only making his second consecutive start after joining the rotation.
